The Board - Close Contact [Text Only]

Jan 3, 2021

Hi Everyone,

Its been a heck of a few days, the long and short of it is that I became a close contact with a person who was COVID-19 infected; as a result, I have had to have a COVID test and self-isolate.

The test has returned negative for the first round, however I am now in mandatory self-isolation, with 12 days remaining. We have received guidance on the family members, and the family have self-separated to the in-laws, so its just me home-alone.

As you may appreciate, its a bit of a challenging time due to this, plus also trying to figure out what is going to happen for work as I am meant to be back at work tomorrow... which is definitely not going to happen in the office!

As such, I do apologise that there won't be an episode this week, and it re-iterates me asking you all to take all precautions possible, and follow the health advice given from your local health advisories such as wearing masks and keeping appropriate hygiene.

I am required to have a follow up test in the isolation period to ensure I am not just in an incubation period, so hopefully that too will turn out to be negative, and then we'll be all good once the isolation period is over.

Be safe, and I'll be back soon!
