The Board - A few difficult days

Hi Everyone,

Apologies for not having done an episode for a few weeks now, but life finds a way. Semi-solid slug has been going through a bit of separation anxiety, and then his teeth have actually broken his gumline now (you can feel the incisors now very distinctly when he gnaws on your finger now...), and a couple of days now he hasn't settled to sleep until 2am, leaving me with 3 hours sleep before I have had to go to work.

This weekend, we also attended a family wedding (my wife's cousin) which saw us out of the house with the two kids for over 12 hours and getting home extremely late, which, we didn't know until today, that after we had left, there was a medical incident (at the wedding reception!) that saw my father in law get hospitalised.

He's doing ok, but he's still being kept for observation and more scans/tests, but its certainly made for an interesting day/afternoon. Thanks to my sister in law for toughing it out at the hospital overnight and nearly all day being with him in the emergency department until they found him a bed in the wards.

So, yeah, no episode at the moment, but we'll get one soon fingers crossed.
